Vishal P The much anticipated Entertainers Cricket League 2025 Season 2 was scheduled to be held From 6th March 2025 to 19th March 2025. The ECL is an innovative franchise-based cricket league featuring eight teams, led by popular social media icons and stars competing with each other in T10 Format with a tennis ball.
Three new teams were participating this year in season 2 in ECL making the tournament more exciting. In the first edition a total of five teams were played, but this season three more teams Chennai Smashers, Kolkata Superstars, and Rajasthan Rangers, are ready to hunt for the title.
The ECL 2025 tournament hunting the social media influencers with the potential to succeed in the cricket arena also, required a budget of Rs.10 crore. Each team has 20 players, with Bobby Yadav representing Lucknow Lions, clinched a whopping amount price of 2.80 crore as an expensive player to be sold.

ECL 2025 Format (Entertainers Cricket League) Season 2
If we talk about format of ECL Cricket League 2025, a total of 8 teams participated in the tournament facing each other in a total of 32 matches, in the 12-day tournament.
All the matches were held in the IG Indoor Stadium in Delhi, in which the first match commenced on 6th March 2025. It is an 8-city-based franchise cricket league.

There will be a total of 8 teams instead of five in the first season, fighting with each other with the aim of clinching the ECL Season 2 title.
There are some new faces to be witnessed this season including Big Boss winner and Indian YouTuber Elvish Yadav, leading Haryanvi Hunters as captain including Rajat Dalal as new squad member in the team.
A well-known influencer Pushkar Raj Thakur leading the Kolkata Superstars as a captain, and Mahesh Nain leading the Chennai Smashers for the first time in ECL Season 2 2025. Here is the list of all the team’s squads list.
