Vishal P Ashutosh Sharma is an Indian cricketer who was born on 15 September 1998 and currently plays domestic cricket for Railways, previously he played for Madhya Pradesh and for Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League.
He is a very skillful right-hand batsman who showed his batting skills in various level in cricket. Ashutosh made his IPL debut on 14th April 2024 against Gujarat Titans, where he plays for the Punjab Kings in the 2024 Indian Premier League season.

Early Life and Family of Ashutosh Sharma
Ashutosh Sharma was born on 15 September 1998 in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, India. He is currently 26 years old. His father Rambabu is a government employee at Ratlam.
According to the media, Rambabu motivated Ashutosh to join the Railways Cricket Club Academy as he saw a passion for cricket in Ashutosh.
He joined the Railway’s cricket academy and got better and played under-14 and under-16 for his district. After, sometime he shifted to Indore with the help of former Indian cricketer Amay Khurasiya in 2016 for better opportunities.
In his early days, he struggled a lot, when he left home he did not have enough money for food, he umpired in matches to afford lunch.
While growing up in Ratlam, he idealized Naman Ojha and also admired Surykumar Yadav.

Ashutosh Sharma Cricket Career
Ashutosh made his debut in 2016 for Madhya Pradesh under-19 cricket team. In an interview, he also said that he often punished himself by doing all the household chores without any help as he thought that this helped him improve his discipline.
After doing so for a month, he scored a century and also developed his interest in cooking which became one of his favorite hobbies.
Ashutosh made his T20 debut for the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association Team in the 2017–18 Zonal T20 League on 12 January 2018.
After that, he made his List A debut for Madhya Pradesh on 16 October 2019 in the 2019-20 Vijay Hazare Trophy.
In 2020, Chandrakant Pandit became the head coach of the Madhya Pradesh team. According to reports, he did not like Ashutosh and he was dropped from the 2020 Mushtaq Ali Trophy tournament despite scoring three-half centuries in the season before.
After not getting selected for the Mushtaq Ali Trophy he fell into depression and thereafter he decided to join Indian Railways as a Junior Clerk in 2022 and moved to Bhopal.
He then participated in the Colonel CK Nayudu Trophy during the same year. Once he did not get a chance to bat in a match against Manipur in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. However, he later played well against Arunachal cricket team.
In October 2023, he came to the limelight when he also broke the record of Yuvraj Sigh by making the fastest fifty in T20s by an Indian batter after 16 years.
Ashutosh broke that record during a match in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy matches held in Ranchi, where he hit a half-century in just 11 balls against Arunachal Pradesh Cricket Team.
Ashutosh Sharma was bought by Punjab Kings for IPL 2024 for Rs.20 Lakhs. Where he played a crucial role in the first match against Gujarat Titans and scored 31 runs off 17 balls on 4 April 2024.
After getting selected for the Punjab Kings squad, he started training under Sanjay Bangar. He first met Bangar during an IPL match when he was a ballboy and Bangar was a part of now-defunct Kochi franchise.
During a match against Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2024 season, Ashutosh made 61 runs off 28 balls.
In the 2024 IPL Auction, he was released by the Punjab Kings and bought by Delhi Capitals for Rs.3.8 crores for the IPL 2025 season.
In the opening match of the IPL 2025 season for Delhi Capitals, Ashutosh played a crucial and quick fire knock of 66 (not out) of 31 balls and led his team to victory.
He did so when Delhi Capitals was struggling during the match when they lost wickets early, Ashutosh came in sixth when the score was 65/5 and drove Delhi Capitals to their victory against Lucknow Super Giants.
